But it is he who gives the bath the qualities that it needs: “living” air, maximum heat saving, and durability. If such logs could not be found, it is possible to erect a building from a rounded log or profiled beam.
Preparation of lumber for construction
The log before starting the construction of the bath needs to be prepared. Here you can choose one of two options: either erect a building of wood of natural moisture, or first dry the lumber. In any case, it will be possible to operate the bath only after 1.5 years - this period will be needed either to dry the log house or to shrink it. Despite this, it is better to stop on the second option and dry the logs.
To do this, round timber needs to be laid under a canopy. The stack should consist of rows of logs separated by bars so that air freely penetrates into the gaps. After 8 months, the logs are sanded and re-stacked for further drying.
