The kitchen rightfully occupies the most honorable place in the house. After all, this is not just a room for eating, but a cozy corner, where in the evening you can sit with your family at a tea party, arrange gatherings with friends or just relax alone. For this, in a private house, a kitchen studio can be a good option.

What is a kitchen studio

The kitchen-studio is a large multi-purpose room that combines the working area for cooking with the living room or dining room. After the usual small kitchen, which was hidden somewhere in a secluded corner of the house, a spacious studio kitchen is just a dream for any housewife. Equipping such a room is not difficult at all. If the house has a separate kitchen, then you need to redevelop and demolish the wall. If a new house is being built, then all this can be planned even during construction.

The main advantage of a kitchen studio is its space. Firstly, you can create a comfortable living room with upholstered furniture, a TV and even a fireplace. Secondly, you can receive many guests without worrying that there is not enough space. In such a kitchen it will be nice not only to relax, but also to cook breakfast, lunch and dinner. The spacious kitchen will also allow you to realize all your design talents and cherished dreams: beautiful functional furniture, high-quality kitchen appliances, various pleasant little things for which there simply was no place before (decorative plants, paintings, shelves, fountains, an aquarium).

Studio Inconvenience

In a house of such a layout, problems may arise which, if desired, can be easily solved. First of all, these are smells that, during cooking, are carried throughout the house. Therefore, the working area of the kitchen should be equipped with a powerful hood.

Another disadvantage is the insufficient amount of light in the dining room area (in the event that the dining room is located in the back of the house, not at the window). Here you can use mirrors by placing them opposite the window. Or make a suspended ceiling with spotlights, and hang a sconce above the table.

Since the working area of the kitchen is now always in sight, it must be kept in perfect cleanliness.
