Laminate flooring is one of the most popular flooring. It is a thin, durable panel, equipped with ends "locks" for joining paintings. The thickness of the laminate is different - from 6 to 11 mm. But all the panels are laid in the same way.
Preparatory stage
Manufacturers recommend starting laying the flooring not immediately after its purchase, but after a few days. All this time the laminate should be in the room in which it will be laid. This is necessary so that the material adapts to temperature and humidity, which will help to avoid further deformation of the paintings.
Paul also needs training. If it is wooden, you should check for skewed floorboards. For this purpose, use the construction level. It is necessary to achieve such a state of the surface that at a distance of 2 m the height difference does not exceed 2-3 mm. This result can be achieved by leveling the floor with a grinder. The boards need to be strengthened, and those that are unsuitable for further use should be replaced. If the floor is concrete, it should be leveled with a cement-sand mortar or self-leveling screed.
