Over time, the bearing will wear out and become unusable. Therefore, if you hear an additional knock while the machine is operating, first replace the bearing. Otherwise, such an insignificant detail may damage the entire drum.

With the front of the washing machine, the bearings are located in the rear half of the tank. Therefore, first of all, remove the rear wall of the machine.

Free the tank from wires, pipes. Pull out the engine, then remove the washing machine ten and the rear counterweight.

After that, remove the manhole cuffs from the front wall of the unit and release the shock absorbers.

Now nothing prevents to pull out the tank. Carefully remove it from the springs of the washing machine.

After that, unscrew the screws that connect the halves of the tank, and divide it into two parts. Take out an epiploon, examine a lock ring. Remove the stopper and press out the bearing.

After that, clean the seat and press the new bearings back. Reassemble everything in reverse order.

To replace the bearings, you can partially disassemble the washing machine. To do this, remove the back wall of the tank. There are bearings and an oil seal in it. In some designs, a caliper with an oil seal and bearings is installed on the rear wall of the tank. In this case, first unscrew the caliper, clean the drum shaft and install a new caliper. At the same time, do not forget to change the caliper gasket.

In the second embodiment, the bearings are pressed into the tank cap. Knock out the bearings and the stuffing box, replace them and reassemble everything in the reverse order.

When replacing bearings in an Ardo washing machine, consider an important point. The drum shaft has a bronze bushing that serves to seal the bearings assembly. It should not be dented or dirty. The oil seal squeezes this sleeve and does not let water into the bearing. If in this place there is a buildup of plaque, dirt or there is damage, then replacing the bearing will be ineffective. Therefore, first of all, clean the sleeve from plaque first with a rag, and then with a fine sandpaper. Clean to a shine, the less roughness, the longer the machine will last.
