You can, of course, simply remove the sticker mechanically. If the surface of the product is difficult to damage with a sharp object, use a blade or a sharpened knife. If the item is not damaged by water, such as glass or plastic, you can leave it in some suitable container with warm liquid overnight. In the morning, you quickly remove the unnecessary sticker with your hands, there will be no sticky residue from it. If they are still observed, rub them with a brush or the hard side of the sponge used to wash dishes.

If you don’t have time for soaking, you can use another method of removing the sticker. For example, on plastic, glass, or wooden surfaces, try using vegetable oil. First remove the sticker itself, and wipe off its remnants with a cotton pad dipped in vegetable oil. Clean the oil stain with soapy water. A sticker affixed to a glass or plastic surface can be heated, for example, with a hair dryer. After heat treatment, it will be much easier to remove it simply by hand.

Regular vodka can be considered a universal exterminator of adhesive traces of stickers. Dampen a soft cloth with it and treat the sticky area. There will be no noticeable traces of the sticker at all. To remove stickers from leather, paper and fabric products, there are special tools. For example, ask UHU Etikettenloser or Label Off aerosol in stores selling various chemicals. These funds are quite expensive, but effective. You can find cheaper analogues. These fluids are also suitable for removing gum and paint from clothing.

For a wooden surface, for example, furniture, you can use baby powder. It must be poured on a sticky place, and then wiped with a cloth. The resulting spools are then easy to remove, the surface will remain without a sticky sticker. For the same purpose, dry soda or salt is suitable. But salt and soda can spoil the varnished wooden surface.

Be careful when using this or that folk remedy. It is better to use specialized products.

Useful advice

Note that it is not entirely safe to use acetone, turpentine or white alcohol. They, of course, remove traces of stickers, but surfaces such as leather, painted wood will simply spoil.
