Rosemary, lavender, basil, mint, lemon peel and orange - with the help of these and any other fragrant herbs, you can make aromatic salt at home. It is useful not only as a fragrant additive in the bath, but also as a wonderful seasoning for many dishes.
You will need
- 1 cup coarse sea salt
- 1-2 handfuls of dried flowers of your choice
- If you are preparing bath salt, then a few drops of essential oils will come in handy.
- Calculate approximately 2 cups of salt; approximately a quarter cup of herbs is required.

Rub the selected herbs in the palms. You can use a mortar and pestle, grind them a bit to get their full flavor.

Pounded herbs mix with salt. If you decide to make cosmetic salt, then add a little selected essential oil. Determine its amount, guided by their own feelings.

Mix the resulting mixture, transfer to a jar with a tight lid.

The best combination of herbs in the preparation of bath salt:
lemon + mint + basil
rosemary + lavender + mint
Useful advice
With some herbs, such as lavender, mint and lemon balm, you can make aromatic sugar in the same way. You can also use orange zest.
