You can avoid the appearance of downy mildew with the help of good agricultural technology and environmentally friendly plant protection products. The first stage of the growth of cucumbers allows you to process their leaves with a solution of 10-12 grams of lime per 1 liter of water or 90% wettable powder of copper oxychloride. These copper-containing preparations will prevent the appearance of white plaque - however, with strip processing, the rate of consumption of the solution must be observed so as not to overdo it. You can also spray cucumbers in the initial stage of growth with a solution of 2 grams of potassium permanganate and 10 liters of water, as well as infusion of rotted hay - 3 kilograms of hay must be infused in 10 liters of water for two days, strain, add a tablespoon of urea and process the leaves of the plants.
