In these conditions, both brick and wood will work equally well.
If a material of rather poor quality was used in the masonry of a brick wall, it will certainly be hygroscopic. Any brick absorbs moisture, but low-quality has a more loose structure, so it absorbs it from the air in a significant amount. The developer should understand that wet porous stone cannot retain heat. Therefore, a house made of such material will be cold. When purchasing a brick, you must make sure of its high quality. Otherwise, the cost of insulation and heating of the home will be very significant.
A wooden house is much less cured than a brick one. If a stone building is not heated for some time, then it will take a long time to warm it up. Therefore, it is desirable to heat brick houses in automatic mode. With wood, the situation is much simpler: the cold will warm up in a few hours.
