Many faced such an unpleasant problem as a greasy stain on clothes. Such unexpected “guests” can appear on any thing, especially often on children's clothes. And these stains are not always removed with the usual wash. What to do in this case? It’s not scary if it was an old unnecessary thing, you can simply throw it away. And you can still compete for new or favorite clothes.

How to remove old or new oily stain from the tissue?

Natural cotton fabrics lend themselves well to washing with aggressive stain removers. They include kerosene, a solvent. With their help, you need to treat the stain, leave the product for 30 minutes and wash the thing well with the powder well. When using kerosene, you should make sure that it does not harm the tissue. To do this, you can test on the invisible part of the thing. If everything is in order, then you can remove the stain.

Delicate fabrics require proper care, so no aggressive products are suitable here. To remove greasy stains from velor, silk and other fabrics, you need to use a special mixture. You will need glycerin, water and ammonia. Mix water and glycerin in equal proportions, and add a little bit of alcohol (a couple of drops per 30 g of the mixture). Next, you need to treat the stain and leave the thing for 3 hours alone, then wash it in warm water. If the stain did not yield the first time, then repeat the procedure again.

Clothes that cannot be washed can be treated with alcohol. To remove the oily stain, in this case, use undiluted medical alcohol. The stain is treated first with it, and then with warm water.

The easiest way to remove unwanted grease stains from clothing is to use mild detergents to wash the dishes. The stain needs to be treated and left for a day, after washing the thing in the usual way (in the machine or by hands).

Whatever method of stain removal you use, it is worth remembering that the thing may be poorly colored or not correspond to the qualities stated on the label. Therefore, to avoid unnecessary problems, first conduct a test on invisible areas of clothing, and only then remove the stain.
