Stainless steel products are sharp and durable. When buying them, pay attention that the blade is smooth, without spots and stains, microcracks and roughness. Ceramic knives are famous for their duration of use without sharpening. They are incredibly sharp and, if you follow the rules of operation, will last you several years. However, ceramics have a serious minus - fragility. If you accidentally drop a ceramic knife, you will most likely have to throw it away. At the same time, ceramic knives are much more expensive than metal counterparts.
