You can use one of several methods to remove a sticker mark. But you should take into account the peculiarity of the material on which the sticky stain is located, since some cleaning methods are not suitable for all products.
The need to remove sticker marks often arises from the prank of children. But it also happens that it is necessary to clean the surface of the products you just bought from them, for example, pans with a Teflon coating. Today, many manufacturers decorate their products with stickers of an advertising and other nature. The peculiarity of such labels and price tags is that they are poorly removed from any surface (metal, glass or wood), leaving sticky spots on it.
Is it possible to remove the sticker mark mechanically?
If the surface of the product is such that it is difficult to damage it with a sharp object (for example, unglazed ceramics), then you can remove the sticky stain with careful scrapers with a sharp-edged knife blade. But even in this case, one should not press hard on the product so as not to leave scratches on its surface. It is not recommended to use this method of removing price tags and labels from fabrics, glass, wood, enameled dishes or soft metals.
