1

Let's start by soaking. If things are pre-soaked, then washing will be much more effective. The exception is only tissues of animal origin, the fibers of which, due to prolonged exposure to water, lose strength. Soak the laundry at a temperature not exceeding 40 ° C, otherwise some pollution of organic origin will only be fixed. As with washing, you cannot soak multi-colored fabrics in one basin.

2

Soak plant-based fabrics overnight in a solution of soda ash (1 tablespoon per 10 liters of water), pre-soaping the contaminated area with household soap or “anti-stain”. Perfectly whitens and makes washing turpentine easier. It can be added while soaking. Of course, you need to use purified turpentine (3 tablespoons per 10 liters of water). Soak towels from the kitchen and other products with greasy stains in water, with the addition of 1 tbsp. l vinegar and turpentine.

3

It is necessary to wash the fabrics of their cotton, linen, hemp after soaking, pre-squeezing, at a temperature of 60-90 C. The secret to the softness of terry products is that after washing they must be soaked in salted water and not ironed.

4

Now about washing delicate fabrics. These include fabrics made from natural silk and wool, synthetic fibers, fine knitwear, cambric, lace. For their washing, it is better to use gels and liquids. For washing clothes made of silk and wool, you can not use products with enzymes, since they destroy the fibers. The composition for delicate fabrics should include lanolin and other softeners that will not allow the cashmere blouse or Chinese silk to deform. When laying such things in the machine, do not fill it more than half and put the program "delicate washing." Do not wring them either in the typewriter or manually. Just take things out and hang over the bathtub to make glass water.

5

Lace must be handled very carefully. First, soak for 2 hours, and then lay in the machine in a special bag. Napkins with lace before washing sweep the white fabric, wash and iron with it, then you do not risk spoiling their shape.

6

When washing products from fine wool, add a spoonful of glycerin to the last rinse water. This will soften them and prevent shrinkage. Also, things made of wool must be properly dried. To do this, you need to, by spreading the product on a plane, straighten all the seams and remove away from the battery. Then the blouse or scarf will be very soft and fluffy.

7

Thin silk items are very shedding, so it is better to dry them, or wash them separately in warm water, rinse with vinegar and iron in the wet state from the inside.
