Ceiling lights are sold unassembled. Sometimes, additional costs may be required to call a specialist who would be involved in connecting the chandelier. But you can assemble it yourself.
Getting to the assembly, you should prepare the necessary tools. You will need a wrench, screwdrivers, a construction knife and a multimeter. You need to start by reading the instructions. A chandelier may have some design features that are best known in advance.
It is necessary to remove all parts from the packaging, including the body, except for shades. It is more reasonable to get glass components of the lamp at the last stage of work, so their integrity can be guaranteed.
Fixing horns
Having unscrewed the nut on the central case of the chandelier, you need to remove the protective cover from it. Then insert the first horn into the corresponding recess, install the washer and tighten the nut. Repeat the procedure with all remaining horns.
At the end of the work, you should visually evaluate how symmetrically they were installed. If the lamp uses more than two horns, the use of an eye will not be enough. It is necessary to use a ruler or a small level.
Then tighten the nut fully with a wrench. In this case, it is necessary to ensure that the horns do not move. Throughout the entire assembly process of the luminaire, the correct installation of each individual part should be checked before tightening the fixing nuts to the limit.
