You are going to make a septic tank of concrete rings on your site without resorting to heavy machinery, so as not to spoil the landscape of your site. Or simply there is no money to pay for such a large-scale work on the extraction and movement of soil. And making a septic tank yourself is simple.

1. It is necessary to dig a hole a little more than the diameter of the ring, with a depth of about the height of the ring.

For example: we have a ring with a diameter of 1.5 meters and a height of 1.3 meters, in an amount of 4 pcs. We dig a hole with a diameter of 1.8-1.9 meters (we take into account the wall thickness of the ring), a depth of 1.3 meters.

2. Order rings. They are brought to you by truck. Manually unloading them is dangerous, and not easy! can be broken!

The crane or thief that you have there, put the "first" ring in the pit.

Then immediately the "second" on him.

3. Make something like an arrow with a block above the rings near the edge so that the bucket passes and does not cling to the walls, but does not hang in the center of the rings! Or put a shield of three or four blocks and pull out buckets from it.

4. Option with at least two workers (minimum). One person digs, the second raises and pours soil into a wheelbarrow. Further, as the cart is filled, the first digs under the lower ring, and the second takes out the soil.

Option with three workers (medium).

One person digs, the second raises and pours soil into a wheelbarrow, the third takes out soil on a wheelbarrow. It is better to have two cars at once - the process is almost continuous.

Four-worker option (perfect!).

One person digs, the second raises, the third pours soil into a wheelbarrow, the fourth takes out soil on a wheelbarrow.

5. So the second ring sank to ground level. But no more! Using the scraps of logs substituted under the ring, roll the "third" ring onto the "second". We push scraps of blocks, bars, etc., using the "lever of Archimedes." Be careful! We insure!

If you can call a thief or a crane - call!

6. The next "fourth" ring is similar to the "third".

7. Here are all the rings buried. Grease the slots with a solution, cement the bottom, install the cover.

8. Under the rings, dig a little, not more than 20 cm.

Bury the rings evenly so that they are not warped and they are not stuck.

Usually one ring “hangs”, either the lower or middle one.

If it is distorted or the rings are stuck: take a thin crowbar, carefully pull the tear out between the rings, and swing it up and down. First, on one side, then on the opposite, along the perimeter of the entire gap between the rings. The crowbar moves to the side of you, this is necessary if suddenly the rings drop sharply so as not to hit. The rings should gradually go down.

If the rings are stuck in any case, pour water between the walls of the ring and the edges of the pit. Otherwise, the soil "seizes" and you have to dig out from the outside.

As a result, you have a neatly dug septic tank with soil moved to the right place, without "heavy" consequences for your site!
