Drainage wells are reliable helpers in the fight against the increased humidity of the site. Their device helps to remove excess moisture, while the depth of the groundwater increases. With increased soil moisture, the site is often swamped, moisture constantly accumulates on it. If you neglect the device of the drainage system, under the influence of excessive humidity, the foundation begins to subside after some time, in the winter season, the soil freezes and deforms.

What can drainage wells be

Wells can be absorbing, accumulative or viewing. The latter variety has a specific purpose - it is not arranged for water to accumulate in it, but for the system to be inspected and cleaned. They can be installed at the corners of systems or in places where several branches meet at once - there is a greater likelihood of clogging of pipes. For such a well, the size is selected depending on whether a person will go down there to carry out cleaning.

Absorption wells, i.e. filtering wells, are installed with the aim of draining the soil. In depth, they run within two meters. At the bottom of the well, a filter is made of gravel, gravel, broken brick or other similar materials. If there is no way to arrange such a well, make a funded, that is, a water intake. To install it, you need to select the lowest point on the site - so it will be more convenient for the water to drain. To pump water, install an electric pump.

As a material for a well, plastic or concrete rings can be used. Concrete products have a longer service life, but due to their massiveness, their use will be more difficult. Depending on the purpose of the well, its dimensions can be different, and before buying pipes, you must first determine what diameter you need.
