If you live in warm latitudes, you can easily grow pomegranates right in your garden and, with proper care, get a good harvest. If you are a resident of the middle zone or northern regions - it does not matter! Heat-loving pomegranate is quite simple to grow from seed in a room culture.

How to plant pomegranate seeds

In the midst of the season, which falls on August-September, get a fruit to extract seeds, pull out a few medium-sized grains, carefully peel and wrap with gauze. Then take a medium-sized flowerpot, lay the bottom with small stones to create a drainage layer, and add garden soil with humus or an earth mixture bought in a special store inside. After that, lower the grains into the ground to a depth of not more than one centimeter and cover the pot with a piece of polyethylene to create the effect of a greenhouse.

The pomegranate must always be in a room with an air temperature of at least 25 ° C. The seeds will germinate for a long time: the process will take from twenty days. During this period, you need to periodically ventilate the pots and, of course, moisten the soil.
