Jeans are worn by almost everyone: from very young children to the elderly. A variety of colors and styles today simply amazes the imagination: from classic blue jeans to formal weekends, with lace embroidery, beads, rhinestones and other decorative elements. Proper care of jeans is a guarantee that your favorite thing will last a long time. However, not everyone knows how to wash jeans, especially if these jeans are work clothes and are subject to severe pollution.

If you want to wash heavily soiled jeans, you will have to work a little. The product must first be moistened with water and rubbed with dry laundry soap. If such soap is not at hand, you can apply a layer of washing powder on the contaminated area and leave the product for 8-10 hours. After this time, you need to soak the product in hot water with the addition of turpentine (the proportion of the solution is 1 tbsp.spoon per 3 l of water). When working with turpentine, care should be taken, since it belongs to the category of combustible substances.

Clothes must be left in turpentine solution overnight. In the morning, things can be washed in a detergent with a brush, vigorously wiping the contaminated area. In this way, even items stained with fuel oil or machine oil can be put in order quite quickly. After washing, rinse and dry thoroughly.

The described method of washing is suitable only for those things that are used as work clothes and for which the loss of "shape" is not so relevant. Jeans for everyday wear or “smart weekend” jeans require more gentle handling.
