A crock-pot is a kind of pan in which there are several cooking modes. At the same time, the device can both bake, stew, and cook. Depending on the model, the modes also differ. For example, many are equipped with a built-in double boiler, which allows you to cook steamed dishes. A crock-pot is like an automatic pan that cooks on its own without any human intervention.

The main functions of multicookers: steaming, porridge, rice, stewing, baking, pilaf. Many modern models are equipped with built-in programs of the most diverse plan: multipovar, and yogurt, and pasta, as well as many others.

The air grill is a kind of improved type of convection oven, since its main functions are frying, grilling, stewing, barbecue, baking, steaming and cooking without water. Some models can be additionally used as a home smokehouse. It is noteworthy that the air grill refers to those devices that are more suitable specifically for frying and baking. In this case, you can cook meat and poultry with a crust, as in a conventional oven. A slow cooker is not capable of this, since dishes are more stewed in their own juice than fried.

Air grills are available in very large sizes, which is not entirely suitable for small rooms. But in such a device you can cook food for a large family without extra effort.

The main difference between a slow cooker and an air grill is the cooking method. But there is a common advantage - dishes can be created without the addition of oil and fat, which automatically makes them more beneficial for human health. In a slow cooker, the cooking process is carried out due to the influence of low temperatures, which leads to languishing of the products in their own juice. The vapor pressure in this case depends on the selected mode. Aerogrills, however, work on the principle of a classic furnace, processing products with a hot air stream, which can be constant or changing, according to a given program. The heating element and fan allow you to fry and bake dishes.

The vitamin value of dishes cooked in a multicooker is higher, since the cooking temperature is lower. This allows foods to retain the maximum amount of nutrients.

The air grill and the slow cooker have differences in care. One device is more moody and bulky, while the other has the advantage. Removable multicooker bowls are easy to clean, both by hand and in dishwashers. Aerogrills, despite the self-cleaning function, are not able to clean the device well from the inside. And washing them can cause inconvenience: the bowls are voluminous and heavy. In addition, the heating element, which is located on top of the device, is also a lid, which makes it difficult to clean.

Another fundamental difference between the two devices is power consumption. So, for example, multicookers of small volume should spend no more than 1000 watts, while it takes about 1500-1700 watts to grill.
