You can clean the blinds with a vacuum cleaner. To do this, use a nozzle designed for cleaning upholstered furniture. Reduce the suction power and brush horizontally to remove dust from the strips.

Once a month, in the warm season, when you wash the windows from the inside, wet the blinds. Lower the rails and clean them with a damp cloth in a downward direction. True, in this case, in a place where one plank is on the other, the dust remains. Therefore, you need to wipe and in the opposite direction (carefully so as not to cause damage). Thus, you clean the blinds on both sides.

Kitchen blinds are more difficult to clean, as greasy deposits accumulate on them. Such blinds will have to be wiped one bar after another using a cleaning agent. And for convenience, you can use a terry mitten instead of a rag (you can replace it with an old terry toe), but it’s more convenient to wear it over a rubber glove. So, you can, having dipped in a cleaning agent, put on a terry mitten on your hand, thoroughly wash the dirt, without damaging the skin of the hands.

It is better not to wash the kitchen blinds under the shower, since greasy deposits cannot be removed with a weak jet of water, and strong pressure can deform the planks.
