Storing garlic is not such a difficult process as it seems. In city apartments, you can use ordinary banks for this. For example, the easiest option is to sterilize the jars, dry them thoroughly, put the dried garlic in them, close them with plastic lids and put them in a dark place (cabinet in the kitchen).

You can also store garlic in jars in flour, this method will allow you to keep the freshness of garlic longer than the previous version. So, the jars must be thoroughly washed, dried, put the garlic in them (it must first be kept for several days in a warm, well-ventilated room) and covered with flour. After this, the jar needs to be shaken slightly so that the flour sags properly, and add flour. The procedure must be repeated several times until the thickness of the flour in the jar does not exceed garlic by a couple of centimeters. Everything, garlic is ready for storage (in a dark, dry place), if desired, the jars can be closed with lids.

If you have a little garlic at your disposal and you want to store it in such a way that you do not have to waste time cooking it later, you can choose the option of storing garlic in oil. To do this, simply peel the garlic, rinse it, dry it, put it in clean, dry jars and pour oil (you can use any to your liking). After that, close and clean the jars.

Among housewives, the method of storing garlic in salt has recently been very popular (plus the method is that the vegetables are kept fresh and fragrant for up to eight months). All you need to do is take wooden crates (or pans), pour ordinary rock salt on the bottom, then put the garlic in one layer, again fill everything with salt, etc., and the last must be a layer of salt. It is worth noting that at room temperature (at about +25) the garlic stays fresh for about five months, if the temperature is reduced to 10-12 - about eight.
