For the placement of flowers, window sills and horizontal surfaces near windows are best suited, be sure to consider which side your windows face, since the choice of plants will depend on this.

On the eastern side, fuchsia, myrtle, geranium, begonias, Thompson's clodendrum, violets, small-leaved ficuses, stapelia, oleander, dracaena, stone rose feel good. Windows facing east, the most favorable place for plant growth.

On the western side, you can put asparagus, begonia rex, bilbergia, low jasmine, date palm, cissus, chamerops, eucalyptus, echmea, strobelantes, sansevieria.
The northern side is favorable for the growth of Dieffenbachia, Moraine, ferns, aspidistra, cyclamen, conifers, spathiphyllum, monstera and ficus. The north side is not the best place to place flowers, but still more suitable than the south.

It is better not to put flowers on the southern windows, since under the influence of direct sunlight the plant will receive burns and may die completely. But if the southern window is at least slightly obscured by trees and shrubs, then you can place cacti and succulents on the windowsill: prickly pear, echinocactus, money tree.
