Sebum and sweat penetrate deep into the tissue fibers. A greasy shirt collar is very difficult to tidy up with a regular car wash. But knowing some tricks, you can ease your task.

You will need

  • Laundry soap

  • Washing powder or liquid gel

  • Air conditioning for clothes

  • Salt

  • Taz

Instruction manual

1

Wet the collar of your shirt with warm water and wash with laundry soap. Handle the fabric thoroughly. Instead of soap, you can use washing powder diluted with water to the state of semolina, or a special washing gel. If the dirt is too full, then after the first soaping, rinse the collar and wash again.

2

Dissolve a small amount of laundry detergent or gel in a basin of warm water, add a teaspoon of salt there and put a shirt with a soaped collar for one hour.

3

Now it remains to squeeze out the excess water and, without rinsing, put the shirt in the washing machine, set the temperature to 50 C (this is enough to dissolve the fat and preserve the color of the thing) and wash the thing in the usual way for you with the addition of washing powder and conditioner. If after washing there are greasy spots on the collar, then repeat all steps again.

note

Frequent washing will inevitably worsen the condition of the clothes and rather make them unusable. Based on how long you want to wear the thing, how much it should be clean every day and how quickly it gets dirty, make your washing schedule. Particularly dirty items and shirts should be washed separately from other clothes.

Useful advice

Do not save on washing powder. Cheap is required much more than high-quality expensive, and its cleaning properties leave much to be desired. Give preference to washing gels that dissolve sebum on clothing. The salt added to the washing water helps maintain the brightness of the fabric.
