The advantages of curtains include ease of use and low cost. If necessary, the curtains can be replaced - for example, in the cold season it is worth hanging denser, and in the summer - light and airy. In addition, the curtains are easy to design windows of non-standard shapes - arched, French, too large or, conversely, narrow.
Curtains also have disadvantages. It is better not to hang the curtains on the window next to the stove - this is contrary to fire safety. If the apartment has a bad hood, soot and grease will settle on the curtains. Street dust penetrating through the open window will also spoil the appearance of the curtains.
