Clothes made of woolen fabrics have not lost their relevance for many decades. Dress, cardigan, sweater and vest are indispensable things in cool weather. In order for your favorite products to serve you more than one season, not to shrink and not fade, you need to follow the simple rules of washing.
Modern washing machines have a special program for washing wool products. However, if you are afraid to spoil your favorite thing, use hand wash or dry cleaning services for care.
Pour water into the basin, the temperature of which should not exceed that indicated on the product label. As a rule, things made of woolen fabrics are washed in soft water at a temperature of no higher than 30 degrees. Tap water is hardly soft. Therefore, if you do not have a special filter, use ordinary baking soda. Dissolve 2 tbsp. means in 10 liters of water. Then add a gel designed to wash items from woolen fabrics, and immerse the product. Wash such clothes with extreme caution: you can not friction, twist and crease.
Handwashing is unlikely to help you deal with complex stains. To do this, you need to pre-treat all contaminants. Moisten a foam sponge with alcohol and gently wipe the stains. If necessary, repeat the manipulation after 20 minutes. Only after the stains have been completely removed can you start washing the woolen product.
Rinse the woolen cloth in clean water. Remember that you can not twist and squeeze the product. Put clean clothes in an empty basin and tilt it slightly. After half an hour, excess water drains.
Dry the woolen cloth in a straightened form on a horizontal surface covered with a clean white cloth. After a couple of hours, turn the product over and change the wet cloth. Repeat until the clothes are completely dry. If you wash your woolen things this way, they will retain their appearance and shape.
