In addition, “Building Standards and Rules” (SNiP) in the relevant sections govern operational compliance and standardization of wiring.
There is no need to search and study all four collections of rules for the layman, since part of the household power supply is presented rather concisely, and some points sometimes contradict each other. To perform electrical work in a house, apartment or cottage, you can and should use the general recommendations for achieving the best indicators of reliability, modernity and safety.

Starting with access restrictions for people without special qualifications and ending with the use of high-tech protective equipment designed to protect a person from electric shock and prevent the development of a potential source of fire. For this, passive protective equipment is used, such as refractory channels and shells, electrical insulation, grounding. It is also possible to use active means - devices for monitoring the state of networks, devices for their comprehensive protection.
