Chewing gum does not penetrate the tissue fibers, but getting rid of such stains is quite difficult. However, there are several methods for removing contaminants that are based on exposure to low temperatures.

Do not try to wash clothes under hot water, this will only ruin the thing. Better immediately put it in a plastic bag and put it in the freezer until the chewing gum completely freezes. Many solvents (refined gasoline for lighters, dichloroethane, dimethylformamide) are able to cope with the task and remove chewing gum from the tissues. To do this, just apply the product on the stain and stand for 5-10 minutes, then carefully collect the chewing gum from the edges to the center. Repeat the procedure several times if necessary. Before applying a particular solvent, try applying a small amount to a less visible area of the fabric to make sure that it does not dissolve the paint.
