Young children love to sculpt various plasticine crafts. During such classes, the child develops fine motor skills and thinking. But due to careless handling of clay on the carpet, spots can form that are difficult to remove.

Take ice cubes or frozen foods. Place them in a clean plastic bag and attach to the stained area for a while. The wax and clay that make up plasticine are quickly frozen, which contributes to the effective removal of contamination. Take the plastic knife that came with the plasticine and gently scrape off the stain. When the carpet is completely clean, brush the pile. If the first time it was not possible to remove plasticine, repeat the steps from the beginning.

Use white spirit, refined gasoline or acetone to remove greasy traces of plasticine. Dampen the foam sponge in the solvent and blot the stain. After a few minutes, wipe the contaminated area from the edges to the middle. Wipe the treated area with a sponge dampened in solution. Finally, rinse the carpet with clean water. Before use, make sure that the solvent does not damage the material. Put a couple of drops of the product on an inconspicuous area of the carpet and leave for 10 minutes.

Prepare a soap solution to remove traces of plasticine. To do this, pour warm water into the basin and stir a small amount of detergent. Thoroughly clean the damaged area of the carpet with a foam sponge dampened with liquid. When the stain disappears, wipe the carpet with a damp microfiber cloth.

Apply car interior cleaner to the plasticine stain. Leave for a while. Then wash off the soap with a damp cloth. Before using this tool, carefully read the attached instructions or consult with the seller.

Use a spray to freeze if there is no ice at hand. In addition, it is the most effective and fastest way to remove plasticine. Apply to stained area of carpet. Then scrape off the hardened plasticine with a sharp object.
