Look in stores for special care products that are specifically designed to clean natural or artificial suede. If the shoe is heavily soiled, remove it with a brush. Then apply a foam or spray, and when the liquid evaporates, walk again over the suede with a brush. Typically, this method of cleaning helps to freshen up the appearance of the product, as well as get rid of salt stains and other impurities.

If the stains are persistent, wet the suede with a damp cloth; in extreme cases, wash your boots. Use a neutral detergent that rinses easily with water. Wash your boots with a soft sponge. Try to prevent moisture from getting inside the product, then dry your shoes by stuffing inside old paper or newspapers.

Stains can be removed from suede boots with vinegar. Dilute the acid to about 9%. Soak a cloth in the solution and wipe the suede. Once the moisture has dried, apply a product that restores color. Instead of vinegar, a solution of ammonia is also suitable, the optimal proportion in the ratio with water is 1: 5.

You can restore the appearance and texture of suede, as well as get rid of salt stains with steam. Place a wide pan on the stove, in which pour a liter of clean water. As soon as the liquid begins to boil, hold the boots over the evaporative moisture for about 3-5 minutes - this is quite enough. Brush them, and if necessary, apply a cream that matches the color of the product.

Handle suede boots with a water-repellent spray a few hours before going out. It is desirable that it be colorless. You can’t do this just before going for a walk. It is necessary that the product is completely dry, otherwise the snow will stick to the boots, which will lead to wetting of the material.
