Start with the easiest ways. Fill a bucket with hot water - the hotter the better, it is better to use boiling water. Pour water into the toilet bowl sharply and from a height at right angles to ensure strong pressure. A powerful jet of hot water should break through a small blockage of the toilet. If you notice that the water flow is better, pour a few more buckets, watching for improvement.

Buy special products to eliminate blockages, which include acids, alkalis and other active substances. Pour liquid into the toilet bowl and leave for several hours (on some packages from such products, manufacturers write that a few minutes are enough, but this is usually not enough to remove serious blockages). After this, pour a bucket of boiling water again.

If chemistry and water did not help, remove the excess water from the toilet with a bucket so that you can easily use the plunger. Leave some water so that it covers the rubber part of the plunger. Choose a pear-shaped tool with a diameter of a rubber bowl about 10 centimeters. If there is no plunger, you can make him in return a so-called "pusher doll" from a stick and several rags wrapped in a plastic bag. For reliability, rags are best nailed to a stick with studs, the same can be done with a plunger so that the rubber part is guaranteed not to slip off at a crucial moment.

With a more serious blockage, the sewer cable will help. To work with him you need to wear gloves. Pass the cable into the toilet and, when you feel resistance, turn the knob. Make jerky movements until the toilet cleans. But be careful - if the house has old pipes, then it is better not to use this tool.
