Blood, urine and sweat stains most often get on the mattress. Contamination must be removed immediately after exposure. As it dries, the stain is absorbed into the fibers of the tissue, which complicates the process of its removal.

Blot fresh stains from blood and urine with a dry, clean cloth to remove as much moisture as possible. Then moisten with sparkling water without sugar and dyes. Sprinkle the contaminated area of the mattress with sodium chloride. As the stains dry, it will change its color.

Treat the dried spots on the mattress with soapy water. In doing so, periodically blot with a clean, dry cloth. Then put the mattress in the sun or use a hairdryer or heater.

To remove stains from the mattress, take boric acid. Mix it with water until a thick mass is obtained. Apply the paste to the contaminated area of the mattress, rubbing it thoroughly. Leave for a while. When the mixture is completely dry, brush it off. After that, treat the stain with a warm soapy solution, periodically blotting with a dry rag.

Mix lemon juice and table salt to make a thick paste. Then apply the product to the area of contamination and leave for several hours. When the mixture dries, remove it with a brush or vacuum cleaner. Wipe the stain with a clean cloth dampened with clean water. Dry the mattress completely in the sun or with another desiccant.

Remove blood stains from the mattress using hydrogen peroxide. Dampen a cotton swab in this preparation and blot the contaminated area. Leave for a while. Then wipe with a clean, damp cloth or foam sponge. If the blood stain is old, then repeat the procedure several times.

Remove stained blood and sweat stains with ammonia solution. For 1 cup of water, take 1 teaspoon of the product. Dampen a cotton swab in this preparation and treat the contaminated area of the mattress. Then wipe with a damp cloth and dry thoroughly.

Blot fresh urine stains thoroughly with a dry cloth. Then treat the contamination with a cotton swab dipped in vinegar. Leave for a while and wipe with a damp sponge.
