For washing wool, it is better to use liquid soap or colorless hair shampoo instead of washing powder. To maintain the shape of the product, it is recommended to wash it in warm water by hand. If you need to reduce the size of things, the water temperature is increased to 70 degrees.

To return the color of the yellowed white thing, it is kept in water with the addition of lemon slices for a day. The ammonia added during washing also serves as a good bleach.

Woolen clothes usually retain sweat for a long time. To get rid of it, you can add salt or vinegar to the water - on a bucket of water 2 tbsp. spoons. Only one tablespoon of baking soda during washing will help to freshen the product and eliminate an unpleasant odor.

Glycerin added to water at the rate of 1 teaspoon per bucket of water will give softness and fluffiness to woolen things. To maintain the brightness of the color when rinsing add a little vinegar.

Rolled wool can be returned to normal if you rinse the product in water with ammonia (3 tbsp.spoons per 10 liters) and leave it in this solution for a day. Rinse thoroughly afterwards.

The washed product is gently squeezed through a towel and laid out on a flat horizontal surface. Woolen products must not be dried on batteries, in a centrifuge or in the sun.

Useful advice
Before washing, it is better to turn woolen things inside out. In order not to stretch the loops on the product, they are pre-sewn cross to cross with large, but not tight stitches.
