Load the laundry into the washing machine and turn on the delicate washing mode - set the temperature to 30 ° C and disable the functions of pre-soaking, spinning and bleaching.

Use special detergents with a gentle action designed to wash products made of silk or wool.

Add softener or rinse aid to the air conditioning compartment. If possible, add another rinse to make sure that no particles of detergent are left in the fibers. The laundry marked “P” should be especially looked after - use the dry cleaning method.

Wash laundry manually. Pour warm water into the basin, dissolve the detergent in it and lower the laundry - you can leave it for several hours, soaking it in this way, or start washing immediately. Please note that brushing silk sheets is not allowed.

Rinse your laundry several times until the water is clean - do it under running water. Add vinegar to the water for the last rinse (one tablespoon of acid per five liters of water) - this will help to refresh the color of the linen. Then take out the laundry and lay it on a towel - dry the product by wrapping it in a terry cloth and gently pressing it with your hands.

Hang silk underwear far from heating appliances and not under the sun's rays - spread the fabric by hand, stretching the folds. Iron the laundry when it is still a little wet.

If there are greasy stains on the laundry, you can wash it in mustard infusion. Pour a glass of dry mustard to a batter condition, then add to warm water and leave for a couple of hours to make the composition infuse.

Wash silk linen in mustard infusion without the use of detergents and soap, and you will have to change the water with the infusion three times. Dilute a teaspoon of ammonia in advance with 10 liters of water and rinse the laundry. Perform the last rinse in cold water with vinegar.
