Your baby came from a walk. He had a great time crawling on his knees in the sandbox, launching boats in the puddles and playing leapfrog with the neighboring doggie. And while inspecting the baby’s overalls, you are convinced that washing is inevitable. And ask yourself a reasonable question: "Is it possible to wash it?". Temperature, type of washing and detergents will depend on the material and insulation from which the clothes are made.

You will need

  • - washing powder (special detergent);

  • - washing machine, basin.

Instruction manual

1

Carefully inspect the jumpsuit. Look for the label with the legend. It is usually placed in the lateral inner seam of the product. On this fabric ribbon should be indicated the materials from which the jumpsuit and badges for the care of the thing are made. If you see a crossed-out basin of water, it is not recommended to wash the product and you will have to contact dry cleaning.

2

If the legend contains a wash icon, then prepare the jumpsuit for this procedure. Carefully inspect all pockets, even the smallest. Children often leave gloves, pebbles and other outdoor jewelry in their pockets. Having slightly turned out a pocket, with a soft dry brush clean it of dust, sand, pile. Use a damp sponge to gently wipe off any dirt on the outer fabric. Close all zippers on the jumpsuit. Unfasten mittens, fur lining and jewelry, if they are on buttons or Velcro.

3

Overalls for which hand washing is allowed, you can safely wash in the machine on a delicate mode. The product does not require soaking before washing. Water should not be hotter than 30 degrees. Do not take risks and wash overalls at higher temperatures, as may shed or shrink lining material. Sometimes stains from poorly rinsed powder remain on the fabric after washing. To prevent this, take the powder less than the usual rate. Do not experiment with fabric softeners.

4

If the insulation in the overalls is fluff, put 2-3 pin-pong balls into the drum of the machine. This will prevent fluff from sticking together in one lump. When pushing up, set the minimum number of revolutions. If your machine model does not provide this operation, it is better to squeeze the overalls with your hands.

5

Lay the drying overalls on a flat surface on a well-absorbent cotton cloth. Shake and straighten the product several times so that the insulation is evenly distributed.

note

For overalls made of membrane fabric, use special detergents.

Useful advice

When washing overalls with a large number of buckles, zippers or decorative elements, do not use active washing and spinning modes.
