For a beautiful table setting, you can use not only beautiful dishes. The solemnity of the festive table can be given with the help of beautifully arranged paper napkins. If you are serving a long table, it is best to place napkins in several napkin holders.

If the napkin holder is round, in the form of a glass, you can fold the napkin in the "Candle" way. Large-sized plain napkins look best. To do this, take a large paper towel, unfold it in a large square and fold it diagonally into a triangle. Then, with both hands, gently twist the napkin into a tube starting from the wide side and moving to the top of the triangle. After we twisted the entire napkin into a tube, bend it in half and insert it into the napkin holder. Twist the rest of the napkins and fill the space of the stand with the resulting “candles”.

If you have flat napkins that simply mean napkins, then you can add variety using different colors for decoration. Multi-colored napkins can be folded into a napkin holder, alternating them in colors.

You can also fold napkins with flat shapes. In this case, it is better to use small square napkins. The classic way to put napkins in a flat napkin holder is to use a fan. Fold all the napkins you have diagonally so that you get triangles. Insert napkins into the napkin holder so that the right angle is inside, and the guests saw only the hypotenuse of the right triangle from the napkin. You can put the fan in one direction in this way, or you can fold half the napkins with a fan in the opposite direction. Then table decoration will look even better. And if you take napkins of several contrasting shades and lay them out in a certain order, then the table will become even more memorable for guests.

You can collect napkins in a flat napkin holder in the form of the so-called "bird of happiness". Take ordinary napkins of several shades and bend parallel corners in them. Then fold the napkin in half. In the end, you should get a napkin folded in the shape of a trapezoid. Do this with other paper towels and insert each one into each other. It remains to make the neck and head of our bird. To do this, take the last napkin and also fold its parallel edges. Then fold the same sides again. If you use large wipes, then repeat these steps until you reach the bent edge of the center of the napkin. Fold the napkin in half. Get an elongated trapezoid. You just have to bend the upper corner to get the bird’s head and fold the lower part so that it is more convenient to fold the wings of the bird. First put the head of your bird of happiness in a napkin holder, and then insert the plumage at once.

To surprise guests, you can use cutlery instead of a napkin holder. In particular, for the next method, it will be necessary to find a stable cup or glass. The main criterion should be the small height of the dishes. Well, if there is a square-shaped glass in stock, but if only round cups are at hand, then take them. Straighten each napkin, turning it into an elongated rectangle. To do this, just deploy it once. Now fold along the long side of the napkin once. You should get a rectangle with an even more extended side. Do the same with all other wipes. Now fold all the rectangles exactly on top of each other and bend them in the middle. Carefully place the napkins in the pre-prepared glass exactly in the center. Everything, table decoration is ready. This method is one of the simplest types of table decoration, but if you choose the right color for napkins and mugs, it will look no less impressive on the table than elegant napkins twisted in the most amazing ways.

You can take a large salad bowl and make an original napkin holder out of it. The main thing is that the dishes are shallow and as wide as possible. It is worth knowing in advance that such an unusual napkin holder will require quite a lot of space on the banquet table. Take a napkin and fully unfold it. Now bend the corner a couple of centimeters. Make another fold further on top of the previous one. So bend the napkin completely until you reach the opposite edge. As a result, you should get a very elongated trapezoid. Turn it over so that the free edge is at the top. Start twisting the napkin. In the end, you should get a tight bud. Slightly loosen it and slightly bend some sides to give the rosette from the napkin a natural look. For now, put the rose in a narrow glass so that it does not unwind. Make the necessary number of roses so that they fit snugly together in a salad bowl and begin to distribute them. This design looks very impressive, but pretty quickly loses its appearance. It is enough to take a few of these roses from the salad bowl and the rest will weaken.

You can make individual napkins for each guest. Thus, you will save the table from the probability of being thrown by accidentally dropped napkins from the napkin holder. You can make the same rose as indicated in the instructions above, but put it not in a large vase, but in a small glass or glass. You can use a glass instead of an individual napkin holder. To the rose from a napkin, you can add petals. To do this, just take napkins of a different color. Ideal if they are green shades. Fold the napkin in half to make a triangle. Slightly open it and insert the rose so that the right angle of the napkin, which will become the stem and leaves, is at the bottom. Insert the structure into the glass and place it next to the rest of the glasses on the table.

Experiment with the color scheme of napkins. Napkins collected in a napkin holder in a certain order by color will look most impressive. Especially if the colors are contrasting. Looks great combination of white and yellow, blue and orange.
