The height of such tablets, as well as their size, is small, just for the comfortable development of the seedling in the first weeks. In the center, each has a recess in order to put a seed in it and cover it with a substrate on top. Before using for planting seeds, peat tablets must be soaked in hot water. The tablets, when placed in water, swell to their usual size, increasing by about 5 times.

Both peat and coconut fiber are equally good in quality. Wet coconut fiber and peat are perhaps the best excipients for seed germination. These substrates perfectly absorb and retain water, preventing the seedlings from dying from waterlogging. Often seedlings grown on ordinary soil in the very first cold snap fall prey to the "black legs" and all die from hypothermia and overmoistening.

In order to prepare the tablets for planting seeds in them, they are placed in a high tray all together. The distance between the tablets should be 3-4 cm from all sides, since swollen tablets otherwise will greatly interfere with each other and break. Pills are filled with warm or hot water, they immediately greatly increase in size, straighten. Each seed is placed in the middle of a separate tablet, in a special depression there. For very small seeds, you can use a knitting needle, a needle, a fine toothpick. Top seeds cover 2-3 mm of fibers from the edges of the tablet. Then the tablets are placed in a special greenhouse, cassette or drawer for seedlings. Depending on the needs of the grown seedlings, you can use a greenhouse with lower heating and backlighting, or leave everything as it is, without even covering it with a film on top.

In order not to confuse which plant is planted where, you can use individual beacons stuck in each tablet or use the marking for each box. Except for some very exotic cases, seed germination accelerates heat and sunlight. If the boxes are covered with lids, it is necessary to ventilate both seedlings and seeds that have not yet sprouted in a timely manner. Sprinkle seedlings in tablets from a spray bottle, and until the dive, it grows in the same way as ordinary seedlings grown in the soil. A picking for seedlings in tablets is not required. Each plant, as soon as its roots began to peek through the bottom of the tablet, is transplanted into a container filled with soil, along with the tablet.
