Together with a fur coat get a special cover for its storage. It must be just fabric, since in a polyethylene coat the coat will quickly deteriorate due to a lack of air. It is desirable that it be dark in color, for example, black or dark blue. The latter is ideal for light-colored fur coats. But at the same time, the fabric of the cover should in no case be painted, otherwise you can easily spoil such an expensive thing. Checking its quality is easy - just swipe it with a damp white towel.

Before storing a mink coat in a cabinet, clean it yourself or use the dry cleaning service. Thanks to this, in the new season she will look beautiful and updated.

Be sure to hang the fur coat on the wide wooden coat hanger. If you use metal or thin, it can deform and sag, and after that it will be quite difficult to return to its original shape.

Keep the mink coat in a closet where the sun's rays do not penetrate - from them the fur quickly loses its luster and becomes dull. Ideally, the temperature in the room when storing this item should be cool, but in no case should it be damp.

Provide good ventilation to preserve the natural fluffiness and beauty of the fur. For this, she should not be hung too close to other clothes. Also, it is advisable to put some means in the cupboard to protect the mink coat from moths, for example, orange peel or lavender. Chemicals cannot be used.

From time to time, remove the fur coat from the cabinet and ventilate it in the fresh air. If you rarely wear it in winter, it is sometimes necessary to hang a fur coat in dry, frosty air for several hours. After that, dry for another hour at room temperature, and then put it in the cabinet. Thanks to this, you protect your favorite thing from the appearance of an unpleasant odor and keep its attractiveness for a long time.
