A laundry basket can not only fulfill the important function of collecting dirty things, but also become a bright element in the bathroom. A little time and desire are able to turn unpretentious plastic baskets into containers of various sizes and functions, expanding the functionality of the bathroom.
Rope basket
For manufacturing you will need:
- plastic basket
- rope of the chosen color
- glue gun.
Apply glue to the end of the rope and insert it into the upper rim of the basket. Apply glue to the rope for better grip. Centimeter by centimeter, apply glue to the rope and press it to the previous layer. Having reached the bottom of the basket, twist the tip of the rope so that it is in the center. For multi-color bathrooms, it will be appropriate to create a multi-colored basket, where colors will alternate with large or small stripes.
Textile basket
To create a basket you will need:
- rope
- glue gun
- textile fabric
The textile fabric will pass inside the basket, so for its cutting will require removal of the internal dimensions. Transferring the dimensions to the canvas, cut the bottom and walls of the future basket. Using a sewing machine, connect the walls to the bottom so that a pouch forms. Apply glue to the canvas bag and secure it inside the basket.
To create the rope handles, make 4 small holes, two on each side of the bottom of the basket. Insert the tips of the two ropes into the holes and connect them using a knot. External decoration with a rope is performed in a similar way.
