Do not rush to throw squeezed lemon. With it, you can clean and polish the metal parts of the mixers, clean the metal washbasin and other surfaces.
- With the help of half a squeezed lemon, you can easily clean and polish mineral deposits on a chrome plated faucet. It is enough to rub the chrome surface of the faucet and mixer with a piece of squeezed lemon and it will clean and shine like brand new. After wiping, the surface must be washed with water and wiped with a soft sponge or cloth.
- Using squeezed lemon, you can clean the copper and brass surfaces. To do this, dip a half of the lemon in salt or baking soda, thoroughly rub the copper or other metal surface, especially where there are stains, and leave for 5-10 minutes. After that, rinse with ordinary detergent with warm water, wipe and polish with a dry cloth.
- In the same way, you can clean copper dishes, candelabra, wall and table decorations made of brass, copper and stainless steel.
- A stainless steel sink can be sprinkled with salt or soda and rubbed with squeezed lemon. After that, rinse and wipe dry.
- Thanks to such cleaning, a pleasant citrus smell will appear in the kitchen, and unpleasant odors will be neutralized.
- If there is no lemon, it can be replaced with citric acid diluted in a small amount of water. You can apply the solution with an ordinary rag or a foam sponge.
