You will need

  • - crosshead screwdriver;

  • - rubber mallet;

  • - slotted screwdriver;

  • - ring drift.

Instruction manual

1

Remove the computer chair seat. To do this, turn the chair upside down with a cross and unscrew the four fixing bolts with a Phillips screwdriver. These bolts connect the height adjustment mechanism - piastra - to the seat of the chair.

2

Remove the armrests of the chair. To do this, unscrew the bolts connecting the armrests to the mounting plate. Remove the plates by unscrewing its mounting screws.

3

Disconnect the piastre from the gas lift by gently tapping it with a rubber mallet. It should be noted that with prolonged use or high humidity in the room, the conical connection of the piastra with a gas lift can "stick". In this case, it is necessary to carefully tap the place around the pneumatic cartridge with a hammer. Sometimes this process requires considerable effort. Be careful - try not to bend the piastra.

4

Disconnect the permanent contact by unscrewing the special bolts. This mechanism provides the connection of the seat and back of the computer chair. The lower part is connected to the piastra, and the upper part - to the back of the chair with bolts.

5

Disconnect a crosspiece of a chair from the gas lift. The gas lift is bonded to the cross by means of a conical connection. Therefore, in order to disconnect the mechanism, it is enough just to knock on it with a hammer. However, there are fragile fasteners in the gas lift, a direct impact on which will inevitably lead to their breakage. Therefore, for this operation, it is recommended to use a special tool - a ring punch.

Lock the crosspiece, install the tool and knock out the gas lift by striking it with a heavy hammer.

6

Remove the chair wheels from the mounting slots. Remove the plugs from the steel casing. To do this, you need to alternately slide the five casings, picking up their edges with a slotted screwdriver. The computer chair is completely disassembled.
