Before you start installing the stove, you need to choose the right place to install the stove in the house. The stove must be installed in such a way that it is stable. All metal stoves have holes on the stands and legs for attaching to the floor. No need to ignore this. Be sure to fix the stove at the installation site.

The stove must be installed so that fire hazardous elements and electrical wiring are as far as possible. When the installation location is chosen, it is necessary to lay a sheet of tin on this floor (thin rolled metal is suitable) so that it covers at least a square meter around the furnace. After all, when you open the door, a small amount of coals will fall out of the furnace.

To put the pipe through the floor of the second floor and the ceiling, special spacers are used. They can be made independently of refractory and metal sheet, but it is easier to buy ready-made ones. Remember one thing - the pipe heats up no less than the stove and can easily set fire to both the roof and the floor if it is removed incorrectly. In addition, to pass through the wall, not a regular pipe is used, but a sandwich pipe (or a pipe with thermal insulation).

When the chimney is out, do not forget to install an umbrella on top of the pipe. This is a special damper that does not interfere with combustion, but eliminates the ingress of snow and rain into the chimney and stove.

Installing an oven is a simple matter. But it also requires accuracy and strict adherence to all laws. If you are not sure that you can do everything yourself, then invite a professional stove-maker.
