A down scarf is a very delicate and delicate thing, so a special approach is needed to it. To wash a shawl out of fluff, it will take a lot of time and patience. But in the end, your delicate miracle will become like new.

Before you start washing the scarf, you need to comb down on the product. This is a very important process that must be done. First, comb down with a clean massage comb, then do the same, but with a simple comb. Please note that everything must be done very carefully, being careful not to hook the canvas.
Down products after washing are reduced in size, that is, shrinkage occurs. To prevent this from happening with your down scarf, you need to build a frame of wooden slats of exactly the same size as the scarf itself. Then pin small cloves or pins to it. It is desirable that the distance between them be equal to the distance between the teeth of the scarf.
Insert a fishing line or a sufficiently dense thread into the needle and carefully thread it through each edge of the clove of the product. Make sure that the length of the thread is not less than the perimeter of the scarf. The product should never be pulled by it. At the end of this procedure, do not forget to fix the ends with a bundle.
Second stage: washing
Not every detergent is suitable for washing a down scarf. The best option is a special detergent for washing down products. Shampoo or liquid soap is also suitable, but washing powder, which contains bleach, is strictly not recommended.
When washing products from down, it is extremely important to monitor the temperature regime. Fill the basin with water, the temperature of which is at least 30 and not more than 40 degrees, and dissolve the detergent in it. Lower the handkerchief into the prepared solution and do not touch it for one third of an hour.
After the designated time has elapsed, begin to manually wash the downy product. In order for it to be washed away and become clean, there is no need to exert much effort. During washing, squeeze it slightly and unclench it with your hands.
The rinsing process is also very important when washing down products. To remove the washing solution from the handkerchief, rinse it at least 2-3 times, and after each rinse, you must certainly change the water to clean. By the way, you can also reduce shrinkage by rinsing things from fluff in water at the same temperature. When doing the above procedure for the last time, be sure to add air conditioning to the water.
