- Old newspapers for pasting walls
- Wallpaper adhesive based on the entire surface of the walls

Rate the unevenness of the walls. If they have large cracks and bulges, then all this will have to be equalized. Cracks are sealed with putty, and tubercles are removed with a spatula or leveled by a grinder with a special nozzle - this depends on the strength of the plaster. Putty can be taken the most common.

Walk over the entire surface with large emery paper to remove small sticking grains of plaster, which, when sticking thin wallpaper, can pierce them through, and then an ugly hole will turn out.

Apply one layer of not very thick wallpaper glue to the walls and let it dry.

Stick on the wall of the newspaper in one layer. This will help to hide the smallest cracks and hide small tubercles, and the walls will become smoother. In addition, you will more thoroughly examine the quality of your work on leveling the surface and will be able to fix something along the way. Let the newspapers dry well. Now the walls are ready for pasting with new wallpaper.

Protect the floor and furniture from dust with old newspapers and cloth. To facilitate operation, you can occasionally spray water from the spray gun into the air.

When leveling the walls, dust will appear, so wear safety glasses and a mask.
