Silver is a noble metal, which is used not only for the manufacture of jewelry. From it make dishes, home decoration. Silver ions have a disinfecting property. Dentifrice
For the first method of cleaning silver products, you will need toothpaste (paste). We dilute the powder with water to a slurry state, and with a soft rag, lightly clean the product. After the cleaning process is completed, rinse the product under running water.
Soda
- If you don’t have tooth powder, then it can be replaced with baking soda. We make a slurry of soda and apply to the surface of the product. Leave to act for 10 minutes. Then wipe with a cloth and rinse.
- We boil 250 milliliters of water and add 20 grams of baking soda to it. After the soda has dissolved, put a little foil in a container of water and lower the silver product into the water for 15 minutes.
Lemon acid
Citric acid is suitable for silver purification. We dissolve 100 grams of acid in half a liter of water, put the solution in a water bath. We put copper wire in the tank and wait for the water to fill. Dip the product into boiling water for 15 minutes.
Acetic acid
To clean silver, you can use 6 percent acetic acid. Wet a small piece of cloth and wipe off the dirt.
