Did you make a repair recently, and on the tile have already appeared severe pollution and unpleasant plaque? There are many different compositions for removing dirt, but before choosing one of them, accurately determine the nature of the pollution on your tile.

Oily stains from tiles are easily removed with concentrated alkali.

If the tile lost its luster and became dull, wipe its surface with ammonia, stirring 1-2 tablespoons in 2 liters of water. Pour the resulting solution into any sprayer from household chemicals, spray on the tile and clean with a damp sponge. If stains remain on the tile, remove them using regular cotton cloth.

A weak solution of vinegar, diluted with water at the rate of one in three, will help get rid of soap stains. After processing, remove the mortar from the tile and let it dry.

Do not use acid-based cleaners for regular tiles. When hit, such products may interfere with the decorative finish and grout structure.

For small but complex stains, take a little baking soda and mix it with water to make a thick paste. Using a small brush (you can use a toothbrush), apply the resulting paste in a circular motion to the stain, and then rinse.

Try to wipe off stains from paint, enamel or wax with a rag dipped in a solvent or acetone. To avoid damaging the skin of your hands, be sure to use rubber gloves.

Liquid anti-scale will help get rid of limescale on tiles. Pour some liquid on the surface of the tile, wait and remove with a soft sponge. It also copes with limescale and a steam cleaner.
Useful advice
When cleaning tiles, discard hard and metal brushes, because they can cause minor scratches on the tiles, into which dirt easily penetrates, it is practically impossible to wash it in the future.
Never use bleach, as dirt from the treated surface is not cleaned, but only discolored. With each cleaning, the visible effect will decrease until it completely disappears.
