Instruction manual

1

Prepare the curtains

Carefully remove the curtains from the hooks. To avoid raising dust clouds at home, carefully brush it off in the street. Sort the curtains by color and composition of the fabric - the temperature of the wash for them will be different. Soak products of the same quality in water with the addition of powder. After some time, replace the dirty soapy water with fresh and again immerse the curtains in it.

2

Observe temperature conditions

For proper washing, you should know the composition of the fabric from which the curtains are made. Since they are sewn from natural or synthetic materials, the washing process will be different. For example, for white linen curtains it is 60 degrees with the use of a universal washing powder for a white cloth, and colored linen curtains are erased only at 40 degrees with a powder for thin fabrics. For silk and velvet, it is better to take a mild detergent and a little warm water (30 degrees). When washing silk with your hands, do not rub or twist - this fabric is difficult to smooth.

3

Wash synthetic curtains

Synthetic fibers (polyester, polyamide, polyacryl, polyester) are widely used in the manufacture of fabric for curtains - they are light and snow-white. To remain a window decoration, such products require frequent and gentle washing. For example, with a universal powder, polyester curtains can be washed at 40 degrees, polyester curtains can be washed at 60 degrees. If wrinkles remain on the fabric, smooth them through the damp fabric with a warm iron in silk mode.

4

Laundry Kitchen Curtains

In the kitchen, curtains get dirty faster than in other rooms of the apartment. To make the fabric easier to wash, soak it overnight in salt cold water and add salt to the powder when washing. If the curtains are made of cotton fabric, follow the rule: wash products at 30 degrees and rinse in water with vinegar.

5

Bleach tulle

White curtains from frequent washing quickly lose freshness, collecting dust and tobacco smoke in their folds. If the tulle turns yellow, soak it before the main wash for several hours in salt water (2 tablespoons per 1 liter of water). Instead of table salt, you can use ammonia (1 tbsp.) And hydrogen peroxide (2 tbsp.). To do this, put the tulle in hot water, spread it and leave it in solution for 30 minutes. After bleaching, rinse the product thoroughly and wash.

6

Clean stains

A grease stain can be removed if wiped with a wet sponge. Using a mild detergent, gently apply foam to the stained area. Wash the sponge, wring and wipe away any remaining moisture from the stain. Rinse off the soap with clean water and dry it with a clean rag. If the stain remains, try to get rid of it by completely washing the curtain in the car.

note

If the product has symbols, strictly follow their recommendations. If there is no information on the composition of the fibers, it is better to use dry cleaning services - then you will not have unpleasant surprises when washing curtains.

Useful advice

Since the curtains are voluminous, and putting them in order with your hands is inconvenient - use a washing machine. Load its drum halfway - this will provide better washing and rinsing.
