When cooking in a hurry, you can accidentally put an oil stain on your clothes, which inherently refers to difficult to remove and insidious pollution. If you start cleaning immediately, oil stains will go away without problems. But if the pollution managed to lie in the basket for a long time, be patient and with detergents - you have to sweat.

If the oil stain that has formed on clothing is fresh, take a tooth powder and cover it with a thick layer of dirt. Rub it in such a way that most of the oil is absorbed into the powder. Shake off the dirty powder, pour a new layer and repeat the procedure again. When the oil is no longer absorbed, leave the item alone for several hours. Then remove the chalk that has come out and wash the product in warm water with the addition of powder, rinse thoroughly.

Mix equal proportions of turpentine with ammonia (about a tablespoon). Moisten a cotton or gauze swab in the prepared solution and rub the oil stain - the direction should be from the edges to the center. Leave the item alone for a while, then repeat the procedure. It remains to wash the item in warm water with laundry soap or powder.

Before starting to wash the stained thing, sprinkle oil stains with crushed chalk or talcum powder, cover with blotting paper (stains above and below) and iron with a slightly hot iron. Clean the stain with a stain remover or gasoline. You can use a solution of half a teaspoon of table salt and three tablespoons of ammonia. To apply this composition should be a white towel or cotton wool, changing as it gets dirty.

Potato flour is considered an excellent remedy for chronic oil stains on almost any surface. Dilute potato flour with water to the consistency of a thick slurry, grease the contaminated surface of clothes with this mixture. After a few hours, remove the remaining dried gruel with a rag dipped in refined gasoline (aviation or the one intended for refueling lighters). At the end of the cleaning process, wipe the stains with stale Darnitsky or rye bread.
