The tile in a bathroom is a universal wearproof material capable to keep a primitive look for many years. However, increased humidity in the room contributes to the formation of a stable coating, which deprives tiles of gloss and in some cases even poses a threat to health. It is important not only to wash the tiles correctly, but also to use a suitable cleaning agent for this.

Before cleaning the tiles in the bathroom, it is necessary to determine the type of plaque formed on it. It can be soapy and fungal. In the first case, the coating looks like a whitish matte film, in the second - it is a mold that grows in the tile joints. It not only spoils the appearance of the room, but also poses a serious threat to health.

For gentle cleaning of mold, soap and grease (except for lime and rust) on the tiles in the bathroom, you will need a soft sponge, rubber gloves and a detergent that can cope with these types of plaque. In no case should you use hard brushes and aggressive abrasive powders, since they can leave subtle scratches on the tile and thereby permanently deprive it of its pristine shine. Ideally, the detergent should not only effectively remove plaque and, but also have a pronounced antimicrobial effect. The universal Domestos gel does not contain abrasive particles, has a disinfecting component and quickly copes with dirt, which is why it is ideal for whitening tiles and tile joints in the bathroom at home. The tool is ideal for white tiles and white seams. In other cases, make sure that the product does not bleach the painted tiles and seams by trying undiluted product or its solution in an inconspicuous small area.

Mix 4 caps of Domestos cleaning gel with 5 liters of water. Make sure the room is well ventilated. Avoid contact with eyes, such as spray from a brush. It is recommended to wear safety glasses. Put on gloves, then moisten a soft sponge in the resulting solution and wipe the tile in the bathroom. Pay special attention to tile joints: this is where a large number of microbes accumulate and mold forms. With a pronounced fungal plaque, apply undiluted Domestos gel on the old toothbrush and with vigorous movements process the tile joints and the joint between the tile and the bathroom. If there is an old coating on the tile or in the joints, repeat the processing again.

Wait a few minutes for the detergent to work, rinse the sponge under running water and wipe the tile and tile joints. Repeat the procedure until the cleaning gel is completely washed off. Finally, remove residual moisture with a soft cloth or silicone scraper.

The universal gel Domestos is ideal not only for fighting dirt, but also for preventing its occurrence. However, tile processing must be carried out regularly, at least once a week. This should be done even in the absence of visible plaque. The fact is that because of the increased humidity in the bathroom, microbes quickly accumulate and timely control of them is the key not only to cleanliness, but also to health.
