It happens that due to a breakdown, a foreign object or a program malfunction, the washing machine drum is jammed. In a top-loading machine, pulling out laundry becomes problematic due to its design features.
You will need
Phillips screwdriver, stiff wire, flashlight.
Instruction manual
1
Disconnect the device from the mains, sewage system and water supply. Take it to a well-lit, spacious room. Replace the transport bolts. Open the cover and carefully examine the design. You should see small holes in the drum, covered with plastic from the inside. Outside, the latches usually stick out.
2
Press the tabs of the latches at the same time so that the plates fall into the drum. Pull the laundry out of the unit through the openings. Long tweezers or hooks made of hard wire on the handle can be useful for this. Then use the wire to get to the door. For convenience, light yourself a flashlight. If the drum has risen so that it is not possible to get to the holes, remove the side walls. Use a Phillips screwdriver to unscrew the back wall.
3
To remove a foreign object, place the machine on its side. Locate the thick rubber drain tube at the bottom of the tank and disconnect it. Put your hand in the hole that opens and remove the foreign object in the space between the tank and the drum. For convenience, rotate the drum periodically. Carefully inspect the impeller of the drain pump, often small things get there.
note
If your washing machine is under warranty, call a wizard immediately. Self-analysis can cause a service failure in repair.
Useful advice
Inspect the case, the manufacturer is trying to hide all the connections and fasteners. Remember the location of each bolt, as manufacturers sometimes use fasteners of different diameters.
