Take a large pot and set it on fire. Add three glasses of soda, one or two bottles of stationery glue and soap shavings to it. Mix well. Then put the pan that you need to clean in this pan and let it simmer for about two hours. Pour out the pan while the solution is still hot. As a result, soot should come off with black flakes. Before cleaning soot, be sure to wear rubber gloves, an apron and open the windows in the apartment.

Pour some sand into the pan to hide the bottom of the pan. Put it on medium heat for about 12 hours. After such annealing, the adhesion of soot to the surface of the pan will weaken, and then it will be possible to clean it using the usual mechanical method (steel brush for dishes or a special brush for metal, etc.). This method of getting rid of carbon deposits is suitable for cast-iron, copper or silumin pans without non-stick coating.

Place the skillet on the coals in a cooled oven. See that it does not melt. If the carbon layer is not very large, then after 5-10 minutes it should fall off by itself. This method cannot be applied to pans with thin walls or with a multilayer bottom. Try to get rid of soot by putting the pan in the dishwasher. Turn it on to maximum temperature. After several cycles, the deposit should be cleaned without much difficulty (if the degree of contamination is small). For aluminum pans, this method is prohibited.
