Microwaves are usually operated by all family members. And if not everyone cleans up after himself, then after a while you can find inside the crumbs, and burnt leftovers, and greasy spots. Fortunately, to clean this modern miracle of technology is much easier than its gas or electric counterpart.

Pay attention to the model of your microwave: some of these furnaces are equipped with a special cleaning program (autopyrolysis). When starting to clean the microwave, first remove the rotating tray from it and wash it with warm water and a dishwashing detergent.

Wipe the inside of the oven with a dry cloth. If food debris has dried up or there are old greasy spots, apply a detergent designed to clean microwave ovens, and after 5 minutes, try to clean it.

Instead of chemicals, you can try to remove pollution with a solution of water with vinegar (one part of vinegar to two is water). This method is also good because it removes the smell of food.

But remember that no sharp, cutting or scratching objects can be used. Also, do not use cleaners that contain large hard grains of sand so as not to scratch the inside of the microwave. And no liquid should get on the electrical elements of this device.

Put in a glass bowl a couple of lemons, cut in half, and pour in the same water. Then place it in the oven for 5 minutes, setting the maximum power. After turning off the timer, let the liquid with lemons stand inside for another 10 minutes, and then remove the container, and wipe the surface of the oven. Instead of lemons, you can also put orange peels in a container. In this case, the active substance against fat will be essential oil.

Add citric acid (two teaspoons) or vinegar to a cup of water and heat it in an oven in high power mode for 10 minutes. Then, without waiting for the walls of the microwave to cool and dry, wipe them with a soft cloth. If for the first time everything has not been cleared, repeat this procedure again. You can do the same by adding not citric acid to the water, but the same amount of soda.

You can also sprinkle greasy spots on the bottom of the stove with sea salt by sprinkling it with water. Leave overnight and wipe the surface with a napkin in the morning.

External cleaning of the microwave can be done with any suitable detergent for dishes and glass. But try not to allow fluid to leak into the body of the appliance to avoid unpleasant consequences.
